The Ealgian earrings are hoop stud earring with a slight knife edge profile on the front, which descends into a protruding spike. The shape is inspired by the details of medieval shields and armour, and the natural defence mechanisms found in nature such as bird talons and rose prickles. They are lightweight and add an understated edge to an everyday or elegant look. Ealgian is the Old English word meaning 'to protect'.

Ring Sizing

If you already wear rings, simply measure the internal diameter of the ring that fits the finger you want to wear your Lyleu ring on, match it to any of the AUS/UK sizing letters and select the size in the product drop-down menu. If you can’t see your desired size listed, select OTHER and enter the size in the Order Special Instructions at the bottom of the checkout drawer as soon as you add the item to cart.
If you know your size in UK or US sizing, simply convert it to the number or letter next to it. For more detailed instructions, please see the Ring Sizing page.


Jewellery Care

Most silver and gold jewellery can tolerate light hand soaps without damage. However, different finishes and materials will need different types of care in order to prolong their condition.

We always recommend removing any jewellery when showering, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or doing any other activity that could damage the jewellery, and keep them away from direct sunlight or heat to prevent warping.
