The Casurus ring was part of the MARS collection from 2017. The collection was an exploration of emotional resilience and evolution, taking inspiration from ancient weaponry and armour. More commonly known as the name of the fiery planet, Mars is in also the name of the Roman god of war and agriculture.

Casurus (latin): to conquer and defeat.

  • Wide band with textured edges and two hanging chains.
  • Antique finish sterling silver
  • Width of ring band: 1.2mm
  • Thickness of ring band: 1.5mm
  • As this ring has a wider height than regular rings, size up by 1/2 to 1 size for this ring. See ring sizing page for details.

Ring Sizing

If you already wear rings, simply measure the internal diameter of the ring that fits the finger you want to wear your Lyleu ring on, match it to any of the AUS/UK sizing letters and select the size in the product drop-down menu. If you can’t see your desired size listed, select OTHER and enter the size in the Order Special Instructions at the bottom of the checkout drawer as soon as you add the item to cart.
If you know your size in UK or US sizing, simply convert it to the number or letter next to it. For more detailed instructions, please see the Ring Sizing page.


Jewellery Care

Most silver and gold jewellery can tolerate light hand soaps without damage. However, different finishes and materials will need different types of care in order to prolong their condition.

We always recommend removing any jewellery when showering, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or doing any other activity that could damage the jewellery, and keep them away from direct sunlight or heat to prevent warping.
